Sensory Clinic Service Indianapolis
Personalized Support for the Nervous System, the Body, and the Whole Child
These one on one sessions are designed to support children in feeling safer, calmer, and more regulated in their bodies, with each session tailored to your child’s unique needs and goals.
With a background as a licensed special education teacher and decades of experience in therapeutic bodywork, I combine sensory understanding, nervous system support, and individualized care to help children move toward meaningful, functional outcomes in their daily lives.
Goal Oriented, Child Centered Care
Every session is guided by your child’s specific goals, whether that looks like:
helping the nervous system feel calmer and more regulated
supporting a child in feeling more at ease at school or in daily routines
increasing comfort with safe, supportive touch
meeting sensory seeking needs so the body can settle and relax
reducing overwhelm and dysregulation
building body awareness and a sense of safety within the body
For children who express needs through behaviors such as hitting, biting, or physical seeking, sessions can help redirect those needs into safer, more effective forms of communication, such as requesting deep pressure or appropriate physical input.
This work is not about changing who your child is. It is about helping them feel better in their body and access the support they need in a way that works for them.
What This Work Looks Like
At its core, this service focuses on supporting the nervous system through therapeutic touch, sensory input, and structured interaction. I also work with parents on your child’s specific behavior, sensory goals.
Sessions are adapted in real time and may include:
Deep pressure bodywork and compression
Gentle, supportive touch techniques
Movement and grounding exercises
Sensory regulation strategies
Guided interaction to support communication and body awareness
Behavioral support suggestions & guidance
Rapport building
Games with Deep Touch used as a Reward
Each session meets your child where they are, allowing them to build trust, comfort, and regulation at their own pace.
Collaboration and Whole Child Support
I believe the best outcomes happen when care is collaborative and aligned.
I am happy to work alongside your child’s existing care team, including parents, therapists, educators, and other providers, to support shared goals and create consistency across environments.
Interdisciplinary phone consultations are available to help integrate this work into your child’s broader support system.
Support for Parents
My intention is not only to support your child, but to become a trusted, consistent part of your support system an additional layer of care for both your child and your family. I would like to support you in any way I can including offering a safe space to support you as you navigate being a care giver and the pressure, grief, and joy that comes along with that.

Intake and Personalization
Before your first session, you will complete an intake form that allows me to deeply understand your child, including:
sensory preferences and sensitivities
communication style
behavioral patterns
medical and developmental background
what has worked well in the past and what has not
You will also have the opportunity to share anything else you feel is important so that sessions can be fully tailored from the very beginning.
These sessions are designed to support regulation, comfort, and body awareness, but are not a replacement for medical, occupational, physical, or behavioral therapy.
This work exists to support children in a way that is often missing — where sensory needs, behavior, and the body are understood together.
My goal is to help your child feel more regulated, more supported, and more at home in their body, while also providing you with a trusted, compassionate addition to your village.
A Safe and Supportive Space
My background in special education allows me to create an environment where children are understood, accepted, and supported without judgment. I do special education and disability advocacy. I was a special education teacher in the severe/profound unit for 15 years. I have run ABA programs using special communication devices during that time. I am licensed in the state of Indiana EH-HS mild-severe profound.
I am comfortable working with a wide range of needs, including sensory sensitivities, neurodivergence, and more complex behavioral presentations. Your child does not need to mask, perform, or fit into expectations that do not serve them.
This is a space where they can show up exactly as they are and be met with patience, structure, and care.
